Support
Email epifive2@gmail.com. We reply within two working days. Please include:
- which Outlook you use (web, new Outlook for Windows, classic Outlook, Mac) and whether it is a work or personal account;
- what you clicked and the exact message you saw (a screenshot helps);
- the status report CSV if the problem happened while sending. Remove any personal data you do not want to share.
Never send us your password or your full recipient list.
Getting started
- Open any email in Outlook, choose Apps (or the add-in button on the ribbon in classic Outlook) and pick EpiFive Mail Merge. Pin the pane so it stays open.
- Upload a .csv or .xlsx file, or paste cells from Excel. The first row must hold column names.
- Pick the email column, write your subject and message with
{{Column}}fields, and check the preview. - Send a test to yourself, tick the consent box, then start sending.
Common questions
I can't see the add-in button
In Outlook on the web and new Outlook, open an email and look under Apps in the message toolbar. In classic Outlook, a newly added add-in can take up to 24 hours to appear; restarting Outlook can help. Your organisation's admin may also block custom add-ins.
The sign-in window does not open, or closes straight away
Allow pop-ups for Outlook in your browser and try again. Work accounts may need an administrator to allow the app ("Need admin approval"); send them this page.
Sending stopped with "Daily limit reached"
The Free plan sends 50 emails per day. Download the report, and tomorrow upload the report file itself: rows marked Sent are skipped automatically. Pro allows up to 1500 per day.
Microsoft stopped my sending
Every mailbox has Microsoft sending limits: 10,000 recipients a day and 30 messages a minute for Microsoft 365 work accounts, and less for personal Outlook.com accounts, especially new ones. CC and BCC addresses count as recipients. Wait 24 hours, then continue with the report file. Use the recommended speed.
Some rows were skipped
Rows are skipped when the email address is missing or invalid, repeated (if "skip repeated addresses" is on), or already marked Sent in a re-uploaded report. The report lists the reason for each row.
Attachments
Each email can carry up to 3 MB of attachments. Per-row attachments must be OneDrive or SharePoint sharing links that you can open; the first time, Microsoft asks you to allow file access. For bigger files, put a link in the message instead.
Can I close Outlook while it sends?
No. Keep the add-in pane open until the progress bar finishes. If it was interrupted, upload the report to continue where you left off.
Pro and billing
Choose Upgrade to Pro in the add-in to pay through Razorpay with the mailbox you use in Outlook. After paying, close and reopen the pane. To cancel, use the link in your Razorpay subscription email or write to us; Pro stays on until the end of the paid period.
Remove the add-in
Go to aka.ms/olksideload, choose My add-ins, find the add-in and choose Remove. If your admin installed it, ask them.
